Co-Op wins bid for Lloyds

FT: Co-op wins bid for Lloyds branches

just in case you were thinking that the Co-Op might bring a bit of common sense to the banking industry [a "deposit" banking system rather than an "investment" system?] here's the headquarters of the Co-Op Banking arm in Stockport UK:

ok so the Co-Op is the only supermarket that gives you actual money for using their loyalty card [I have one] rather than useless 0.01p points every time you shop, just a heads up so you know where they're coming from

Is the whole thing a pyramid? Difficult to see all the way round in this picture. It's certainly got a strong vibe of Illuminati to it!

yes, it's a 4 sided pyramid, in the photo you're going slightly up hill so don't see how farther down it goes as well
surprised there's not been a pile up on the motorway that runs along the right side of it in the photo, nearly makes me crash everytime I drive past it, I guess people are busy driving :)
